I think they deleted the scene where he was eating mushrooms and then the mirror starts talking to him. The only thing clear is the really low expectations of the people voting for this video.

Wow, I am amazed at how mean people have been throughout this contest. Everyone has put a lot of thought and time into the video entries and the number of negative comments are astounding. And some of them are downright mean, almost scary how negative people can be. What is it accomplishing? It's too bad that all this anonymity has allowed people to say whatever they want, regardless of what kinds of consequences they may have to the person receiving the comment.

The vote per day per user and the lack of regulation on account creation fosters this negativity. You've got a significant gap between the top four voted videos and the remainder of the entries. In a pool this large it's inevitable that someone would cheat. The larger issue with this competition is that the vote numbers are completely arbitrary and don't accurately show the videos that most deserve to win. Quite a few videos on here are just as good if not better than the top four voted videos. If the goal was to generate awareness of ForRent.com, the votes and accounts should have been more restricted. Allowing people to vote daily does nothing in this regard, in the same way not having a more robust system to deter people creating multiple accounts has. People are upset, and it's understandable considering the circumstances. They are venting on the top voted videos because if anyone cheated, pretty sure it's not the guy who's video is on page 10.

Joshua, I don’t feel that you caught the spirit of what Neehar was saying. But, no matter. Our video has been posted from the start of Phase 2, the beginning of the voting phase, which has helped our overall total. If you divide our rating by the number of voting days, we have had approx. 31 votes per day. That’s not an unrealistic following. Those who entered later in Phase 2 and suddenly jolted to the top rated slots…well, we can’t and won’t comment on their tactics. We agree that more could be done to manage the voting. Also, the “comment” section does nothing to benefit the contest so it should be eliminated. This is only the second year that For Rent has done this contest, as we have been told, so we think they have done fairly good job. It is now in For Rent’s hands to decide the outcome. No matter the result, in the end, we played fair and can walk away with our integrity intact.

congrats on making it to the finalist stage! i am impressed! i appreciate your entry for being so ORIGINAL -- not like OTHER entries -- but its complete, 100%, authentically ORIGINAL approach! some entries on here were borderline "hack" status, but this one was both surprising in its ORIGINALITY and skilled in its execution of effects! way to go, bud!
